Kohl’s Stony Hill Tree Farm is a small Christmas tree farm that took root in 1986.  That’s when we purchased a rundown 39-acre farm that just happened to have nearly 2,000 evergreen trees planted in one field. That first year, we cut some of them and toted them to my grandparent’s farm market (Kohls Market) located along route 147 about 3 miles north of Northumberland. The goal was to sell them and luckily, we were successful.

Today We have 30,000 trees to choose from, offer over 100,000 ornaments in our Christmas Shop, and have the largest collection of Christmas Tree Stands in the world according to the Guinness Book Of World Records. Enjoy our famous Corn Maze and huge Lawn Game area with over 50 huge outdoor games. Try your hand at the Corn Canon or Pumpkin Chunkin giant sling shot in the Pumpkin Patch.  Choose from hundreds of pumpkins in the Pumpkin Patch then take a relaxing, picturesque hayride through the beautiful Pennsylvania Countryside. There’s more fun things to do outside at Kohls Stony Hill Tree every fall than anywhere else in the Susquehanna Valley.
